Parent Meeting Scheduled

A parent meeting for the Shaker Crosses The Alps Tour has been scheduled for Monday, August 31, 2009 at 7 PM in the High School Auditorium.

Don't forget, band camp starts at 8:30 on Monday morning at the Middle School. Please see the Marching Band Page for more information.

Marching Band Packet Available

The Marching Band packet, including the medical form, fee list, and the honors credit form, is available on the Marching Band Page. If you need extra copies, please feel free to print them out and turn them in. Remember, Raiderette and Percussion Camp begins next week!!

Picture Page Update

The pictures page has been updated with a Memorial Day 2009 album. Also, the patron, volunteer, and merchandise order forms have been updated.

Be sure to encourage everyone to sign-up for email updates throughout the summer as trip information and reminders are posted.

International Tour 2010 Announcement

The announcement has been made!! The Shaker High School Bands 2010 International Concert Tour will be "Shaker Crosses the Alps," visiting Milan, Venice, Innsbruck, Munich, and Salzburg. See the Trip Info page to view the presentation and for important forms and information.

Evening of Saxes

Come hear the Saxophone-Choir Concert this Wednesday March 25th. The concert begins at 7:30 and will be held in the Shaker High School Large Auditorium. This section, like all others of the Shaker Bands is brimming with talent. It will surely be a great event filled with smooth sounds and sweet solos.

Malley's Fundraiser

Remember that orders for the Malley's Chocolate Fundraiser are due no later than Wednesday, March 18. Online orders can still be placed until April 8.

Site Updates and H.S. Concert Reminder

Visit the "Pictures" page for some great shots of this fall's football season and highlights of last year's concert season. A huge thank you goes out to those of you who emailed your photos for us to share. The interactive calendar on the "Calendar" page has been posted, but is only temporary as we search for a better program. The "Private Instructors" page has also been updated with our recommended instructors' contact information.

Remember that the "Contest Concert" for all high school bands will be held this Tuesday, February 24, at 7:00 PM in the Shaker High School Auditorium. Each group has a different call time, so please check with your student for more details.
